“I MADE MY OWN ACTION FIGURE!”

Every single detail of this project was discovered through self-reflection. The packaging was made entirely from scratch and the figure itself uses a base mold with added sculpting and 3D printing. Why an action figure? Well, when I was young, I was obsessed. They sparked so much imagination and creativity. My favorites had movie-like accuracy and the most articulation. By orchestrating aspects from clothing design, painting, sculpting, photography, and graphic design, my application of many approaches helps me understand the process. The various usage of skill and medium to a single project is a passion of mine and was specifically done for this self-portrait.
