Thesis 2025
In a digital age, shooting analog film remains a deliberate, tactile, and immersive process. This capstone project reimagines the Super 8 camera to amplify the rituals of analog filmmaking.
By turning the Super 8 film cartridge horizontally and re-re-engineering the internal mechanism to expose a film negative three times larger, this camera pushes the Super 8 format to its absolute limit; creating a new format that enhances the visual quality and expands creative potential.
