THE AIR JORDAN 1 “NATURAL GREY”
hasn’t seen a rerelease since 1985. My obsession over the sneaker model led me wanting to make my own pair. The 1985 model varies in shape from modern retros and I spent a month studying images of the OG. Finding a wearable pair is very rare and the prices range from $700-$4000 as of April 2020.

I found that each photo of the ‘85s had different builds and colors from aging. To my best ability I used the general appearance for my own construction to capture the vintage aesthetic. The uppers had to be sewn using my grandmas vintage Singer sewing machine and I hand turned the wheel for each stitch. (Note the OG size tags Wings logo, I added my birthdate and name..)
