A drawing assignment with two requirements: use trains and colored pencils. I loved trains when I was five but in my junior year of high school I was about skating, sneakers, New York City, and sunsets. Skateboard videos tend to have unique wide angled shots so I made the whole drawing be at a 140º tilt. The buildings are all trains and the rest is straight forward. This piece is special to me due to it being selected to be printed on banners representing artists from the school district and hung along the main street in my town center.
